> Studio marking on bottom bowl is in red with the full name of the maker Koshida Shozan
> Beautifully hand painted with Sakura and Kiku Japanese Flowers, Red Maple Leaves and a beautiful Pheasant sitting on the shore overlooking water. Bowl has impeccable gilding highlighting the hand painted details of the artist
> Colors- Red, Yellow, Purple, Pink, Green (Forest, Olive, Light and Mint), Orange, Black, Cobalt and Light Blue, Grey and of course Gold
> Pinched Rim
> Size- Approximately 5” across x 2 1/8" Tall
> Weight- Approximately 265 grams
> Condition- I have looked over this bowl very closely and the only marks I see on the bowl are where the rim is pinched and the red coloring shows through. I do not believe this to be anything but a result of the hand painting.
